Share a report or dashboard outside the workspace

Last updated 15 October 2026

Use this to show a client, a board member or an accountant a report or dashboard without giving them an account.

Open the report or dashboard and press Share outside. Choose how long it works (a day, a week, a month or three months), give it a name for yourself, and optionally a passcode (six characters or more) and Ask for the viewer's email. Press Make a link and copy it: it is shown only once.

2. What they see

Plain tables, read-only, with the numbers as you see them. Emails, phone numbers and fields classified as personal or sensitive are masked. If the link has a passcode or asks for an email, they are asked first.

3. Who opened it

The dialog lists each link with how many times it was opened and when. Every opening is also in the audit log, with the viewer's email when you asked for it.

4. Turning it off

Press Turn off next to the link and it stops working at once. A link also stops when it expires, or when the person who made it leaves the workspace or can no longer see the report. Only the report's creator or an admin can share it outside.
