Lead scoring without the guesswork
A simple, transparent lead-scoring framework your sales team will actually trust: pick signals, weight them, decay them, and route the hot ones automatically.
Most lead scores get ignored because nobody can explain them. Fix that by making the score boringly transparent — a running total sales can read at a glance.
Score behaviour, not identity
Fit tells you if someone could buy; behaviour tells you if they will. Weight the actions: pricing-page visit, demo request, reply, repeated opens. A job title is a tiebreaker, not the score.
Add decay
A lead who was hot in March and silent since isn't hot. Decay points over time so the score reflects current intent, not archaeology. An increment step on a schedule handles this cleanly.
Route, don't just tally
A score that sits in a field does nothing. The moment a lead crosses your threshold, notify the owner and move the record — that's a two-node automation. (More patterns in 12 workflows worth stealing.)
Review the threshold monthly
Look at won deals and ask: what did they score the week before they converted? Tune the threshold to that. Scoring is a dial, not a monument.
