CRM

Calling from the record is withdrawn

Calling from the record has been taken out of Solstral. It never went live: the phone service it was built on stopped taking new customers before it could be switched on, and we would rather do fewer things well. Nobody was charged for call minutes.

  • Gone: the Call button beside phone numbers and on call tasks, Settings ▸ Calling, the Voicemail view in the Inbox, and call minutes on every plan.
  • Kept: a call task, in a sequence or on its own, is a to-do to phone someone, and a call you log on a record stays on its timeline. The notetaker still records conversations in person and reads Zoom transcripts.
  • For AI connections: the read-only calls.history tool is removed. Everything else Claude and ChatGPT can do is unchanged.
