Personal and sensitive data, protected field by field
Every field now says what kind of data it holds, and Solstral treats it accordingly.

- Classify each field. Not personal, personal data, or sensitive. A contact's name, email, phone and address are personal data from the start; change any field in Settings, Objects & fields.
- Sensitive fields are encrypted. A salary or an ID number is stored encrypted with your workspace's own key, so the database and its backups hold only scrambled text. Admins and the record's owners see it; it is never searched, reported on, put in an email or sent to the AI.
- Hide personal data from members. Turn it on in Settings, Members & access, Access & visibility and members see j•••@acme.com on records they don't own, unless their team may see personal data.
- Out of the logs. Classified fields are hidden in Solstral's own logs too, and platform support never sees personal data.
