Website builder: classes shared across your whole site, variables and tag styles

On sites that use the new site stylesheet, a class now means the same thing on every page.

On sites that use the new site stylesheet, a class now means the same thing on every page.

  • Style once, everywhere. Restyle a class on one page and every page follows. Class changes go live when you publish the site, all at once.
  • Styling gives an element a class. The first change to an element with no class creates one named after it (.hero, .heading-2), so the next element can reuse the look. Switch to This element only to style just the one.
  • A Classes panel. Every class with where it's used, search (by name or by property), rename everywhere, duplicate, delete, and clean up unused classes in one go.
  • Tag styles. Style All H1 to All H6, All paragraphs, All links, lists, buttons, inputs and the page body for the whole site, at any breakpoint and state.
  • Variables. Name your colours, fonts, sizes and spacing once and pick them from every colour, font and unit menu. Rename one and every use follows.
  • Blocks built on classes. Dropped sections and elements use a shared set of classes and pick up the ones your site has already styled.
  • Copy and paste between pages and sites, classes included: a class styled differently on the other site comes in renamed, so nothing changes look.

We're moving sites onto the site stylesheet workspace by workspace, checking each page looks exactly the same before and after.
