Show records on your site

Last updated 22 October 2026

A collection puts records from your CRM on your site: a team, a blog, listings, products. Each record can have its own page. (Collections are being switched on workspace by workspace.)

1. Choose what the site may show

On the site's Settings ▸ Collections, the owner or an admin adds the object and chooses:

  • Shown when ticked: a checkbox field, say Published. Only records with it ticked ever appear on the site, in a list, on a page of their own or in the sitemap.
  • Each record's address: a text field holding lower-case letters, numbers and hyphens, like jane-smith.
  • Fields the site may show: only these reach the site. Personal data, like an email address, starts unticked; sensitive fields can't be shown at all.

A record you untick, or a collection you remove, stops showing straight away (on your own domain, within a minute or so).

2. Add a Collection list

In the builder open Add ▸ Elements ▸ CMS and drop Collection list. In its settings choose the collection, the order, how many to show, a filter, and how many a page shows (its Previous and Next buttons page through the rest). The first item is the template: style it like any element, and for each text, picture or link choose the field it shows in Settings ▸ Field. The other items on the canvas show your published records. When there are none is what the list shows with no records to show.

3. Give each record a page

Make a page, open its Page settings and choose the collection under This page is a template for. Set Record pages at to where they live, say /team: each published record then has a page at /team/jane-smith, made from this one, with the record's name as its title. Bind its elements in Settings ▸ Field as in a list, and turn on Link to the record's own page for a list's Read more link. The template itself isn't a page visitors open, and it isn't in navigation; the record pages are in your sitemap.

The assistant can add a collection to a site for an admin: ask it to let the site show your team, and it asks which fields first.
