Subject lines read properly, and a reply to a test send comes back
Two things that quietly did not do what they looked like they did.
Two things that quietly did not do what they looked like they did.
Campaign subject lines are shown as they will read. Every table listing a campaign printed the subject exactly as stored, so a subject written the way the tag menu suggests - Your monthly update from {{workspace.name}} - appeared with the brackets still in it on the dashboard, in the campaign list and in A/B results. Your brand name now fills in wherever the app already knows it. Tags that depend on the recipient are deliberately left visible, because with no recipient in view that is the honest answer to what a subject will say.
Replying to a test send now reaches the CRM. A test carried no reply address at all, so a reply went to the sending mailbox and vanished - and the only way to discover that was to send the real campaign, which is the one thing a test is meant to save you from. Tests now follow the campaign’s own reply setting, and the confirmation tells you where a reply will land.
Two related fixes: a follow-up email now inherits the timeline settings of the campaign that spawned it, instead of quietly logging nothing; and when a campaign both logs its sends and routes its replies, the send is recorded on the record once rather than twice.
