A contact policy: how often, and when, people hear from you
Set one rule for how often a person may be contacted, and every automated sender follows it.

- Frequency caps. At most so many marketing messages, or messages of any kind, in so many days.
- Quiet hours. Nothing overnight, or on chosen days, in each recipient's own time zone when their record has one.
- Cool-downs. No marketing for a few days after someone replies, and nothing from a campaign, a flow or an agent for a while after a spam complaint.
- Nobody is dropped. Someone the policy holds gets the email when it's allowed; a campaign's report shows who is waiting and until when.
- Your own emails are never held, but they count toward a cap on every message.
Set it in Settings ▸ Email ▸ Marketing ▸ Contact policy. An admin can send an urgent campaign without waiting; that is recorded in the audit log.
