Flows that fill in the record for you, text size on highlighted words, and form search

A round of fixes to the places people told us they got stuck.

Flows

Every step now sits on the flow’s line. Drop a step on empty canvas and it joins the nearest point of the flow; delete a branch and the steps that hung off it go with it instead of floating on their own.

A new step that works on a record - update, add to list, send a marketing email, create a task - starts pointed at the nearest record before it: the one a Create record or Find records step just made or found, otherwise the record that started the flow. You can still point it anywhere, and a one-click Use the record from… button appears whenever a closer record is available. The Record ID pill for “the record that started this flow” now only appears on triggers that actually start from a record.

Every record step on the canvas now says which record it acts on - Acts on: Contact from Add or update record - and turns red when it has none. When nothing before a step makes a record, its Record ID box offers to add an Add or update contact step right before it, filled in from the trigger’s data and matched on email, and points the step at it.

Picking a trigger now loads its most recent data straight away, so every step has real values to map. If there isn’t any yet, the trigger asks you to send some test data.

Send marketing email now goes to the record’s own email address by default - choose which email field if it has more than one - or to a different address when you want to email someone else about that record.

Email builder

Font size and font are on the toolbar now. Highlight some words to change just those - across as many lines as you like - or click into a block without highlighting to change the whole block.

Forms

Dropdown, choice and checkbox-group options are now a list of boxes you add, remove and reorder, and multi-word options type normally. Submissions can be searched and filtered by the form’s current questions and a date range; answers to removed questions are still in the CSV download. The Records tab is gone - turning submissions into records is a flow.

Sharing and security

Link previews now reach every network’s scraper, share images are served directly with their size, and the Share settings explain how to refresh a network’s cached card. Sign-in alerts are now sent for a new country, not every new network.
