Import catches more addresses that would bounce

The import preview's email check now catches more of the addresses that would bounce, before they cost your domain its reputation.

  • Every row is checked for a mail server. On large files, only the first 5,000 rows used to have their domains checked. Now the whole file is. If a very large file can't be fully checked in time, the preview says so.
  • Addresses that bounced recently. An address that recently bounced as undeliverable when emailed from Solstral is flagged as Bounced recently, and campaigns skip it. As soon as any email to it is delivered again, it stops being flagged.
  • More typos. Near misses of the big providers, like gmaol.com or hotmal.com, are flagged as a Possible typo in the domain with the likely correction. If the domain can't receive mail, it is marked as a definite typo.
  • Many more disposable inboxes. The disposable inbox check now knows over 9,000 throwaway email providers instead of a few dozen.
