Safer marketing sends: a first-send review, warm-up by default and campaigns watched as they send
Every workspace shares the reputation of the servers its email goes out from, so one bad list can hurt everyone's deliverability.
Every workspace shares the reputation of the servers its email goes out from, so one bad list can hurt everyone's deliverability. Four changes protect it.
- Your first marketing send is reviewed. A workspace's first campaign or flow marketing email waits for a quick review by our team, usually within one business day, then goes out automatically. Test sends, one-to-one email and notifications are never held. Until then, up to 20 emails a day can be sent through the transactional email API, which is plenty to build and test an integration.
- New sending domains warm up by default. A new domain starts at 20 campaign emails a day and grows to unlimited over four weeks, so mailbox providers see steady growth. Once your sending is approved you can switch warm-up off.
- Campaigns are watched while they send. A large campaign sends its first 100 emails, waits 10 minutes for bounces, then carries on. If too many hard-bounce or are reported as spam, the campaign stops and you're emailed the reason.
- Undeliverable addresses are skipped. Malformed addresses, typo'd domains, disposable inboxes and test data are left out of every campaign and shown as skipped in the report.
