Four ways to split a flow became one

The flow builder offered Filter, If / else, Branch by value and Paths as four separate steps. They were four names for one function - send this record one way, send that one another - and choosing between them was a decision nobody should have had to make. There is now one step: Branch. Give it as many routes as you need, each with its own conditions, then say what happens when a record matches none of them: carry on, leave the flow, or take its own path. One route that leaves the flow is a filter. Two routes is if/else. Several routes on one field is branch-by-value. The panel tells you which of those you’ve just built, in a sentence, at the top. Nothing in your existing flows changed. An if/else you built last month still has its Yes and No connectors, still points at the same steps, still behaves identically - no conversion, no rewiring, nothing to check. The three older steps still run exactly as they always have; they simply aren’t offered when you add something new. Open one and it offers a Convert button that rewrites it as a Branch and reconnects every output to the same step it already went to. It is one click, it is optional, and there is no deadline. Where a step can’t be converted faithfully we don’t convert it - guessing at routing is worse than leaving it alone. The random split stayed separate, renamed A/B split, because it isn’t routing: it’s for running an experiment, and folding it in would have blurred the one genuinely different thing in that group.
