Verify that contacts' email addresses are real

You can now ask a contact to confirm their email address. They get an email with a button, the button opens a page, and pressing Yes, this is my email marks the address as verified. Opening the email alone never counts, because email security scanners open links too.

• On the record. Every email field shows whether it's verified, with Send verification or Resend verification beside it.
• On forms. Tick Send a verification email on an email field. It is off until you switch it on.
• In flows. A Send verification email step, a Wait for verification step that continues down Verified or Not verified after the days you choose, and an Email verified trigger.
• In conditions. Email is verified works in lists, segments, campaign audiences, flow branches, goals and dynamic blocks. To mail only verified people, add it to a segment.
• In any email. The Verify email link merge tag adds a working link for each recipient.
• Your words, your page. Change the default email and the confirm page in Settings ▸ Email ▸ Verification, or send people to a page of your own.

Verification belongs to the address, so every record with that address shows as verified. It doesn't expire, but an address that later hard-bounces stops being verified. The AI assistant and AI connections can check an address and send a verification email too.
