Export your data to your own bucket every day

Last updated 14 October 2026

Once a day Solstral can write everything that changed in your workspace to a storage bucket you own, where a data warehouse (Athena, BigQuery, Snowflake, DuckDB) can load it. Paid plans.

1. Make a bucket and a key

In your storage provider, make a bucket and an access key that may only write to it (PutObject). Nothing else is needed.

2. Point Solstral at it

An admin opens Settings → Data → Daily export, presses Set up, picks the provider and enters the region (or the Cloudflare account id), the bucket, an optional folder and the key. You’ll be asked to confirm your password. The secret is stored encrypted and never shown again. Press Send a test file to check the key works.

What arrives

  • events/dt=YYYY-MM-DD/: what happened, one CloudEvent per line (the same shape as webhooks).
  • records/dt=YYYY-MM-DD/: each record that changed, with its saved values. Lookups and formulas aren’t included; deletions arrive as record.deleted events.
  • manifests/dt=YYYY-MM-DD/: written last, with the counts, so you know a day is complete.

Files are gzipped NDJSON. The first export, and the first after you change the bucket, is a full copy. If the bucket refuses a file, the card says why in plain words, the export tries again later from where it stopped, and admins are told if it keeps failing.
