Calculated measures, scheduled emails and exploring rows

Last updated 14 October 2026

Three things make a report more useful once it's built.

1. Calculated measures

Edit the report and, under Calculated, choose + Add calculation:

  • % of total: each row's share of the whole.
  • Running total: adds up row by row, handy over months.
  • Growth: the change on the row before, as a percentage.
  • Ratio: one measure divided by another. Deals won ÷ deals created is a win rate; set its format to Percent.

They need one grouping at most (a ratio also works on a single number). Removing a measure removes the calculations built on it.

2. Email it on a schedule

On the report, choose Schedule. Pick every day, week or month and the hour (in your timezone), then Schedule it. The email has the first rows as a table and every row as a CSV. Anyone who can open the report can schedule it to themselves; its creator and admins can send it to up to ten people, and each gets it as they'd see it in the app. A private report only ever goes to its creator. Pause or stop a schedule from the same place.

3. The rows behind a number

Click any bar, slice or total to see the rows it counted, on any report, including emails, texts, meetings and tickets. Reporting ▸ Explore lists any source's rows for a period; Make a report from this starts a report on it.

On a dashboard, the filter bar's date, comparison, owner and team apply to every tile. A tile's menu has Keep this report's own filters for a number that shouldn't follow them, like a total-customers count.
