See what you send from Solstral in your Gmail or Outlook Sent folder
Last updated 21 October 2026
When your work address is set up as a sender in Solstral, email you send from a record goes out through Solstral, so it doesn't appear in your Gmail or Outlook Sent folder. If you've connected that same mailbox, Solstral can put a copy there, so your mailbox and the CRM show the same history.
Switch it on
In Settings ▸ Email ▸ Inboxes, under Your connected inbox, tick Copy emails I send from Solstral as … into its Sent folder. Gmail asks you once for permission to add messages to your mailbox; this lets Solstral add the copies and nothing else. Outlook already has this permission, so it switches on straight away.
What gets copied
- Emails you send yourself from Solstral as that mailbox's own address, after they've gone. Nothing is copied when you send as a shared address such as sales@.
- The copy is dated when you sent it, and a reply to it threads onto it in Gmail or Outlook.
- Flow emails and bulk sends aren't copied, so your Sent folder doesn't fill with one copy per recipient.
- The CRM doesn't pick the copy up again when it syncs your mailbox: the email shows once on the record.
If you withdraw the permission in your Google or Microsoft account, the copies stop and Solstral tells you. Untick the box to stop them yourself.
