Solstral on your phone: push notifications and the app

Last updated 15 October 2026

Solstral works in your phone's browser: the inbox shows one conversation at a time with a Back button, the calendar becomes a list of days, and buttons are big enough for a finger.

1. Turn on push notifications

Open Settings → Notifications and press Turn on here, then allow notifications when the browser asks. Do it once in each browser and device you want them on. The Push column says which kinds come through; to start with, mentions, conversations assigned to you, customers writing back, new bookings, approvals and texts. Tapping one opens what it is about.

2. Add Solstral to your home screen

  • Android (Chrome): open the menu and choose Install app or Add to Home screen.
  • iPhone and iPad (Safari): press Share, then Add to Home Screen. Open Solstral from the home screen, then turn push on in its settings: on an iPhone, push only works from the home-screen app.
  • Desktop (Chrome or Edge): press the install icon in the address bar.

3. Offline

Without a connection Solstral shows a short "You're offline" page with a Try again button. Nothing is lost: your work is saved on our servers as you go.

Turning it off

Press Turn off here in the same place, or remove the browser from the list. Unticking a kind in the Push column stops just that kind.
