Your free trial, and what happens when it ends

Last updated 6 August 2026

Signing up on the website creates your workspace immediately and starts a free trial of the full product — the real CRM on your own data, not a limited demo. This page explains the money side of it plainly, because that is the part people reasonably want in writing.

What the trial includes

The trial runs on a published plan with published limits: seats, records, marketing emails, automations, storage and the rest. You can see exactly what they are on the pricing page before you sign up, and inside the app under Settings → Billing once you are in. Nothing is hidden or unlocked later.

When you are charged

We ask for a card at signup, but nothing is charged during the trial. When the trial ends, the card is charged for the plan the trial converts into — that plan and its price are named on the pricing page and again in your billing settings, along with the exact date. This is deliberate: a trial that stops dead mid-week and locks you out of your own work is worse for you than one that rolls over on a date you were told about.

Cancelling

Cancel any time from Settings → Billing — one click, no email required, no retention maze. Cancel before the trial ends and you are never charged. Cancel later and you keep full access until the end of the period you have already paid for; your billing page shows the date and offers a Resume button until then.

What happens if you drop to Free

When a subscription ends, your workspace moves to the Free plan. Two things matter here:

  • Nothing is deleted. Every record, email, file and report stays exactly where it is, and stays readable. We do not delete customer data because a subscription lapsed.
  • Anything over the Free limits stops working until you upgrade. If you are running more automations than Free allows, the extra ones pause rather than being deleted. The same goes for lists, sending domains and published sites. Your billing page lists precisely what is over and by how much, and everything resumes the moment you are back within the limits.

You will also see this spelled out in your own numbers before you confirm a cancellation, so there are no surprises after the fact.

If we set your CRM up for you

Teams we deploy and invoice directly work differently: there is no card on file and no Stripe subscription. You are on a plan we assigned, with limits agreed with you, and we invoice you outside the app. If your access is ever paused, it is read-only — your data stays readable, and writing resumes as soon as the account is settled.

Need different limits than a plan offers? Ask us. Individual workspaces can have any limit raised without changing plans.
