Usage limits and overage

Last updated 1 August 2026

Plans and billing

Every plan includes an allowance for the things you accumulate and the things you consume. The two behave differently when you reach them, and knowing which is which explains what you will actually experience.

Stored things are capped

Records, seats, marketing lists, sending domains and file storage are hard caps. Reach one and creating more is blocked until you upgrade or free some up.

What does not happen is as important: nothing is deleted, hidden, throttled or degraded. Existing data is untouched, everyone keeps working, and only the specific action that would exceed the cap is refused — with a message telling you which limit you hit and what would raise it.

Monthly volumes flow into overage

Marketing emails sent, automation runs and seats reset each month. On a paid plan, going past your included volume flows into low-cost metered overage rather than stopping you, so a campaign does not fail at 3am because you were 200 emails short.

Overage is calculated only for days that have closed, so what you are billed for is settled usage rather than an estimate that moves.

The Free plan stops rather than charges

On Free there is no overage. Reaching an included volume stops the action instead of billing you for it, which is the behaviour you want on a plan with no payment method attached.

AI is handled separately

The AI assistant does not use these meters. It runs on AI credits — a monthly allotment from your plan plus any non-expiring balance you have been granted or purchased. Running out of AI credits pauses the assistant and nothing else; the CRM itself is never gated on them. See AI credits explained.

Raising a limit

Move to a plan with higher included limits, or talk to us about custom limits for larger deployments. The Plan & billing page shows current usage against every limit, so you can see what you are close to before you hit it rather than after.

If a payment fails

A failed payment starts a grace period rather than an immediate downgrade, and you are emailed about it. Data is never deleted and the workspace is never disabled for a billing reason — the worst case is reverting to free-plan limits until the payment is resolved.
