Save your team's procedures as skills
Last updated 14 October 2026
A skill is a procedure your team repeats, written down once: “Monthly flow review”, “New lead check”. Anyone can then ask the assistant to run it, and it runs the same way every time.
1. Write it
An admin opens Settings → AI assistant → Skills and presses Add a skill. Give it a name and write the steps in plain words. Where something should be asked each time, write it in double braces, like {{stage}}, and add it as an input. You can also ask the assistant to save a procedure you have just talked through.
2. Say what it may change
Pick the actions it may use to change anything, for example Update a record or Create a task, and optionally the objects it may change. List no actions and it only reads and reports. A skill can only narrow what the person running it may do: it never lets anyone do something they couldn’t do already.
3. Run it
Ask the assistant: “run the weekly deal check for Proposal”. While it runs, a change outside the skill’s actions or objects is refused and the assistant tells you what it would have done. In Claude or ChatGPT connected to your workspace, your skills appear in the prompt list.
Versions
Every save is a new version and the old ones are kept. Each run is logged with the version it ran, and the list shows how often each skill was used in the last 30 days.
