Organise templates and the Content Library
Last updated 3 August 2026
Both libraries use the same folder model, and in both cases deleting a folder never deletes what's inside it — the contents simply move to Unfiled.
Template folders
Open Marketing → Templates. The rail on the left lists your folders; press + to create one, and hover a folder to rename (✎) or delete (✕) it. Templates are listed as rows showing subject, folder and when they were last edited — use the Folder dropdown on any row to move it, and the search box to filter by name or subject. A template you create while viewing a folder is filed there automatically.
Sending a test
Open any template and click Send test, then enter up to five addresses. Solstral compiles the real email — the same output a campaign sends — and delivers it so you can check rendering in an actual inbox before attaching it to a campaign. Merge tags fill with sample values and the subject is prefixed [Test].
Content Library folders
Open Library. The same rail lets you create, rename and delete folders, and each file card has a dropdown to move it. Uploads go into whichever folder you're currently viewing. These folders also appear in the email builder's image picker, so a large library stays easy to navigate while you're designing.
