Send your first campaign

Last updated 20 July 2026

Campaigns follow a simple three-step flow — Recipients, Message, Review — with a progress bar across the top. Start by clicking Create campaign: name it, add any tags, and begin from a blank email or one of your saved templates.

A campaign with its audience, content and statistics

1. Recipients

Choose the lists or segments to send to (and any to exclude), and optionally refine with extra conditions. Keep Smart Sending on to automatically skip anyone who already received a campaign from you in the last several hours (the window is set in Settings → Marketing), so a busy week doesn't fatigue the same people. Set your link tracking here too.

2. Message

Write the subject and preview text, pick your From address (re-checked server-side at send), and design the email in the block builder — or load a saved template. Turn on an A/B test to trial subject lines; a sample gets each variant and the winner goes to everyone else automatically. Send a test to up to five addresses and read it in a real inbox.

3. Review & send

Review groups everything into Recipients, Message and Tracking sections, each with clear checks and a one-click Edit back to the relevant step. Click Audit campaign for an AI pass over your subject, preview and copy with concrete suggestions. Optionally add a follow-up email that resends to non-openers a set time after the campaign finishes. Then send now or schedule a time — stats appear live as recipients open and click.

Managing campaigns

The campaigns list lets you search and filter by status, tag, A/B test or archived, and switch between a List and a Calendar view. From the actions menu you can duplicate a campaign, resend to non-openers, or archive it.
